How To Be Strong In The Lord And Receive The Promises Of God (Part 3)

People may set out in life looking forward to the “The land of promise” but then, tests and trials of life beat them down so much, so badly, that they eventually give up hope and settle for less than “the promised land”. Or, they end up wandering in the wilderness of life.

As born-again believers, God does not want us wandering in the wilderness of life or to settle for less than His will for us. God wants us to succeed for the right reasons. Joshua 1:7 tells us clearly:

“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.”

God sets the rule for success in His Word. And God responds to faith. He rewards those who seek after Him with a diligent heart.

As a good heavenly Father, God has giving us His word for our wellbeing. Regardless of challenges of life we can live in victory every day. Letting the Word of God be your determining factor in decision making in life will help you to develop confidence in God. You will live a life full of hope and expectation that God is faithful to keep His Word.

This three-part teaching episodes focus on seven important spiritual disciplines for developing strong persistent faith. God does not want you to settle for less. Rather, God wants you to be strong in faith so that you can take possession of His promises and live in the glorious liberty of Christ.
