The cost of living, inflation and financial priorities

The cost of living, inflation and financial priorities

We need to talk about the cost of living and financial priorities.

After two decades in a low inflation and low-interest rate environment, an abrupt change in the economic climate has prompted many UK households to review their personal finances in order to weather the cost of living crisis.

In this episode, Erica and Rob are joined by Lisa Caplan, Director of Charles Stanley's OneStep Financial Planning, to discuss the recent 'perfect storm' which has lead to the high inflation we're currently seeing.

Lisa and Rob break down what causes inflation and explain why the Bank of England has had to raise interest rates, as well as highlight what impact this could mean for people, their spending, and what steps you can be taking now.
