VGK drops Game 1 after leading 2-0

The Golden Knights were 26-0 when having multi-goal leads in the playoffs before Tuesday night. That perfect record is no longer intact, as the Edmonton Oilers took the opening game of the second round series 4-2. Mark Stone scored twice in the first nine minutes of the game, then VGK went quiet. In fact, the Golden Knights had just one shot on net in the second period, thanks to Kaedan Korczak's wrister. Korczak was a last-minute replacement for Alex Pietrangelo, who was taken ill. The Oilers outscored VGK 3-0 in the final period, starting with Leon Draisaitl's goal off Adin Hill's back. We talked about VGK's line shuffling and guess what Bruce Cassidy will counter with in Game 2. And Calvin Pickard outplayed Adin Hill in net Tuesday night. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
