Feature Articles: Week of March 14, 2022

Welcome to the Dementia Connections Podcast, where each week we share the latest research, expert advice, and stories about living well with dementia.

This week we have two brand new stories to share:

  1. Did you know that March 14 to 20 is Brain Awareness Week? It's the global campaign to foster public enthusiasm and support for brain science and brain health. To celebrate brain week, we invited brain health expert, Dr. Andrea Wilkinson to offer some practical advice about how care partners can optimize brain health, starting today.
  2. In our second story this week, we talk with children’s author Christiana Egi, about her book A Rose for Grandma, which gracefully portrays a child’s ability to understand, accept and adapt to the changes that can accompany dementia.
