Adulting Is Hard

Welcome to episode six where the ladies talk about the challenges of adulting. Feeling the stress of bills? Feeling pressured to get married? Not where you thought you'd be in your career? This episode is a must!

First, the ladies give Dr. Nesha her flowers and discuss her TedX Talk presentation she delivered in Montreal to college students (2:02).

The ladies reflect on what they envisioned adulthood would be like when they were in college (6:24). Nesha reveals how marriage forced her into adulthood before she was ready (7:35). Azar shares how the immigrant experience affected her outlook on adulthood (10:42). Azar and Mar reflect on adulting without parents (22:05). Mar asks the ladies what their parents lied about to them and dispels the myth that marriage and kids are mandatory, especially for women (29:00).
