James Potter Used a Love Potion on Lily - DARK Harry Potter Theory
This is going to be a bit of a world shatterer.Wouldn’t it be a cruel and tragic twist if the one witch whose love was powerful enough to defeat Voldemort… Was herself the victim of a love potion? And that the purest act of love in the entire wizarding world came from someone who never truly understood her love for her own husband? What if, beneath the surface of their famous love story, there lurked something much more…Sinister? What if James, desperate to win over the witch who repeatedly rejected him, resorted to the most drastic — and frankly, pathetic — of measures?Join me today as we unpeel the difficult reality surrounding one of the Wizarding World’s most well-known love stories, as well as the far reaching implications it may have caused. Don’t worry, I’ll cover arguments FOR and AGAINST.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Why Didn't Anyone KILL Voldemort BEFORE He Rebuilt His Body? - Harry Potter Theory
Voldemort was considered the most dangerous Dark wizard of all time, and for a while he was feared by the entire wizarding world- even by those who followed him. But after his initial downfall at the hands of baby Harry, he was little more than a shadow—weak, powerless, and holding onto life by a thread (well, seven threads). But eventually, after a brief stint in the forests of Albania..He does come back. He regains his strength, rebuilds his body through dark and ancient magic, regains his followers and..Eventually reclaims his place as the Dark Lord. So… My question is: why didn’t anyone finish the job the first time around? Why didn’t Dumbledore, the Ministry of Magic, or anyone else track down what was left of Voldemort and destroy him before he had the chance to return?Could the Second Wizarding War have been avoided altogether?Let’s take a look.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

The Dark Life of Bellatrix Lestrange (1951–1998) – Harry Potter History
The name ‘Bellatrix Lestrange’ would send shivers down the spines of even the bravest of witches and wizards. And this reputation was well-deserved, as her terrifying perspectives and bloodthirsty nature propelled her to commit numerous unthinkable acts over the 46 years that she terrorized the greater Wizarding community.Widely considered to be one of the most powerful and dangerous witches of her time, Bellatrix is perhaps best known as Voldemort’s ‘right-hand’ woman, occupying a high-up role in the Death Eater hierarchy. But beyond all of this, there was actually a lot more to Bellatrix than some realize. Today we’re going to be diving into her history, peeling back the layers of her character and uncovering what may have motivated her to become the woman that she did.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Is Voldemort Actually a BAD Character? (My Reaction)
I recently came across a clip on YouTube where author Brandon Sanderson and his podcast guest Dan Well were discussing Voldemort’s character. Aaand things got pretty controversial pretty quickly, as shortly after posing the question, “Is he a good character?”—they both came to the same conclusion: he wasn’t.Naturally my first inclination was to feel ANGER because HOW DARE THEY insult the main antagonist from the series that I love. But then I began to wonder….Is he a good character? Or do I just like him because I like the Harry Potter story as a whole? Is he compelling in his own right? Is he actually interesting?And..Can a book even be good if a CORE character is bad?All of this got me really thinking about what makes a good character. Is it depth? Motivation? Backstory? Complexity? Yes, he’s powerful. Yes, he’s terrifying. But is he relatable? Does he evolve? So today, I want to dig deeper into whether or not Voldemort is actually a well-written character, or if he’s just been heavily propped up by the strength of the narrative around him.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
