312. The Buried Secrets of Peter Tobin

312. The Buried Secrets of Peter Tobin

In 1993, MTV aired a music video for the song “Runaway Train” by Soul Asylum. In the video, names and photographs of real missing people were featured. In that music video, the picture of fifteen-year-old Vicky Hamilton is displayed just long enough to burn the image of the girl with the short bob haircut into your mind. When the video was made, Vicky had been missing from her family in Scotland for two years. A little while later in the video, there is another photograph of a girl, Dinah McNicol, an 18-year-old from Essex, in the UK, who had just finished her A-level exams. When the Soul Asylum video was made, Dinah had also been missing for two years. Aside from the fact that both girls went missing six months apart in the same year, and aside from the fact that they both appeared in the same music video, two other things connected these girls. They had both been murdered by the same man. And they both shared the same grave.Join Jen and Cam as we discuss the chilling case of Peter Tobin, one of the UK's most depraved serial killers. We explore how his unassuming life as a handyman masked a brutal reality, leading to the murders of Angelika Kluk, Vicky Hamilton, and Dinah McNicol.*Come join Jen and Cam in Italy 2026*We are touring Italy in 2026, and would love for you to come along! 3. Innocence Lost: Bobby Greenlease Remastered Sound

Remastered SoundBeing from Missouri, I have always heard about the Bobby Greenlease case and have been curious about it. It was a heartbreaking crime and was committed with such malice, it is truly unbelievable that these two barflies could do it. I know we, as a society are all jaded by the awful things that occur in today's world but this was a huge case at a time when things like this just didn't happen. https://www.stltoday.com/news/archives/years-ago-a-tale-of-evil-and-stupidity-missouri-s/article_bfd30e6e-b28c-5f16-b1c6-c090074e615c.htmlhttps://www.kansascity.com/news/special-reports/kc-true-crime/article704587.htmlhttps://www.fbi.gov/news/stories/a-byte-out-of-history-the-bobby-greenlease-kidnapping1https://www.fbi.gov/history/famous-cases/greenlease-kidnappinghttps://www.ranker.com/list/kidnapping-murder-bobby-greenlease/amandasedlakhevenerZero at the Bone: The Playboy, the Prostitute, and the Murder of Bobby Greenlease St. Martin's Press (July 21, 2009) ISBN-10: 0312376790A Crime To Remember: Baby Come Home 2014 Season 2, Ep 8 Learn more about your ad choices. edit 10/8/19Cam and Jen rerecorded their first episode because it was just not good. Heck, it was the first time they had ever recorded anything. Many complained of us talking over each other, sound quality and such so rerecorded it for your listening pleasure. The remain first episodes are still up in their original glory. Enjoy! This case has fascinated me since I first heard about it a few years ago. Robert William Fisher is an American fugitive on the FBIs Most Wanted List for the murder of his wife and children.
