The Arabic Holy Quran revealed upon the prophet Mohamed (PBUH) during years 609-632 CE is divided into 114 chapters, of which 86 chapters revealed in Mecca, and 28 chapters revealed in The Madinah The Chapters revealed in Mecca deals mainly in “The Islamic Creed” e.g. Belief in Allah the Omnipresent and Eternal, His angels, His books, His messengers, Resurrection and Judgment Day, and the divine preordainment good and bad. Chapters revealed in The Madinah deals mainly in moral principles, legislations, community development, and warfare. The Holy Quran can only be read and recited in its original revealed Arabic language.

Al Fattiha, "The Mother of the Book", Guidance Prayer and key to contemplating the Quran. Fattiha balances between intellect and spirituality, and combines the guidance of the inner self awareness and outer actions.

The major themes of the Quran are embedded in the Al Fattiha e.g.:

*Acknowledgement of the Divinity of Allah.

*Acknowledgement and declaration that Allah is the source of The Holy Quran

*Declaration that Allah is the Only One creator we worship and depend on.

*Declaration to follow and rely upon Allah’s and his commands
