What a battle - the world's richest man vs the world's most powerful. Still no peace deal between President Trump and Elon Musk after their big ugly battle erupted over the president's ‘big beautiful’ bill. And as one big jab to Musk, The White House confirmed the president now wants to sell his Tesla. And you see them at every kids’ birthday party - mylar balloons filled with helium. They can really add to a festive atmosphere, but they also come with a warning. Kids like to suck in the helium to make funny, cartoon-like voices - but that can be deadly. A six year old boy just died, after inhaling helium from a balloon left over from his birthday party. Plus, singer Shakira did a lot of hip shaking at her sold out concert in Orlando, but it wasn't just the 45,000 fans in the stadium who could hear the music - so could people miles away! Police received more than 60 complaint calls saying their windows were literally shaking. And now a moving message in a bottle story... A 24-year-old woman in England placed her mother's ashes in a bottle and threw it into the sea with this message: "This is my mum. Throw her back in — she’s travelling the world. Thanks, Cara." Just 12 hours later, it washed ashore on the same beach. Following the instructions - the ashes were thrown back in the water. The late mom's daughter says it’s a way to fulfill her mom's wish of traveling the world. Now it’s going viral, leading to tears all over social media. Inside Edition reports…An officer descended a cliff to rescue a pair of twins and their dad from what could have been a watery grave. Even before the current unrest, cops around the country have had a new tool in their arsenal: paintball guns. You may think of them as a plaything, but as Steven Fabian reports, they are both effective and can be dangerous. A new book out today puts the spotlight on Melania Trump. And for many parents, getting back to work depends on having someone to watch the kids…but is daycare safe in the age of Covid-19? Inside Edition reports…There was a march in Atlanta today in response to this weekend’s killing of Rayshard Brooks, a black man who’d fallen asleep in his car at a Wendy’s. Brooks died after being shot twice in the back by police. The coroner ruled it a homicide. The mayor says she does not believe deadly force was justified. Steven Fabian has a moment-by-moment analysis of what happened. More video from the day George Floyd was killed has emerged. A former star of Saturday Night Live says what happened to George Floyd happened to him…but he lived to talk about it. And a lot of adrenaline with a big dose of selflessness helped a group of neighbors rescue a family that was trapped when their SUV flipped over.  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. Inside Edition reports…Clashes between citizens and police continue across America, including in Miami where the situation quickly deteriorated when a police car tried to make its way through a crowd of demonstrators and they fought back with their skateboards. A 17-year-old girl’s footage of George Floyd’s last moments has been critical in bringing charges against the cops and in launching a worldwide movement…but being a minor and changing the world comes with a lot of stress. Food prices are rising much faster than other goods…but there are some deals to be had if you know where to look. And their spring concert was cancelled but that didn’t stop the 650 members of the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra from making beautiful music. Inside Edition reports…There’s an extraordinary situation in Seattle where the turmoil and calls for racial justice happening across the nation has led to the takeover of a portion of the city. As the standoff continues, now there’s a war of words between the president and local officials. Tough questions are being asked in the case of the two missing children whose remains have just been found. Marine biologists say with humans out of the water recently, sharks have been swimming closer to shore. That means as beaches begin to reopen, be careful if you’re planning to go into the water. And a man who went on a meditation retreat missed the Covid-19 pandemic and had no idea about the George Floyd uproar. He spoke with Jim Moret about how different he found the world when he returned.  To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices.
