Sunday April 24th, ReneMarie Stroke of Luck Show together with Village Connection Network/Rockstar Studios via Zoom on Facebook Live, will feature special guests John and April Piercy.

John suffered multiple strokes starting August 26th 1999 with a Transient Ischemic Attack, another TIA on March 9, 2009, a Cerebral Vascular Accident on October 16th, 2013 and a second CVA on January 12th 2022. Each of these occurrences ranged from age 26 thru age 48. All tests performed on each occasion were EKG, CT, Ultrasound and MRI. John will describe and make audience aware of symptoms and recovery as well as rehabilitation.

John (better known as Dean Geronimo) is a Correctional Supervising Program Support Specialist with 23 years experience. He currently is still employed in this profession. In addition John is Co-Host/Producer of the podcast "Straight Talk with Dean & Marc". The podcast touches many aspects of our society ranging from politics and social justice to entertainment and sports. The show is hosted with Marc Lee from Durham, North Carolina. The podcast can be found on anchor.fm/squared807. Additionally, John is a Prince Hall Mason, Member of the Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine of North and South America and its Jurisdictions, the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated.

Dr. April (also known as Dr. Diamond) have been together with John for 21 years and through the last three strokes. Dr. April is a Correctional Social Work Supervisor and is the Host of the podcast "On the Couch with Dr Diamond". She is also a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. April holds a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and her Ph.D is in Advanced Studies of Human Behavior. Her podcast can be found on anchor.fm/otcwdd.
