ARE THERE REALLY ALIENS FROM OUTER SPACE? Science in its purity (pursuit of knowledge about God’s creation) has been infiltrated by nefarious institutions who became evangelists for the doctrine of evolution. This doctrine has built a fortress of intellectual confinement that now restricts the worldview of many intelligent people. While the understanding of where we are in relationship to who we are has shifted and changed over the years, the question remains: Are we alone in this universe as the only sentient and intelligent entities? Or are there other intelligences out there? As a Bible believing Christian, the answer has always been quite clear. We are NOT alone, but not in the way modern science tells us. The Bible speaks of many different forms of intelligences apart from humans. For example, the Sons of God are mentioned mating with human women to produce a race of giants called Nephilim in Genesis 6. Two angels were lusted after by the men in the town of Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis 19. Watchers are mentioned in the book of Daniel chapter 4. And demons appear in the New Testament with the ability to possess human bodies in various ways, as well as communicate with the likes of Jesus Himself. And in fact, God is considered the highest possible intelligence there can be, since He is the author of this world! So the bottom line is that according to the Bible, there are MANY different intelligent entities apart from humans alone.However, the modern scientific doctrine of evolution dominates the interpretive methods of the data (philosophy of science) gathered by scientists resulting in a very biased, and what we are arguing, a very wrong view of WHO the alleged Aliens are. He served as the CEO of Creation Ministries International for many years. HERETIC! It’s a label we throw on anyone who declares doctrine contrary to yours. But when it comes to Biblical Eschatology, there are many ways to explain the obscure and often confusing text of places like Matthew 24, the Book of Daniel, and the Book of Revelation. On this episode, we speak to our good friend Brian Godawa, who timidly asked to be back on the show to discuss his new book, ‘Tyrant! Rise of the Beast – Chronicles of the Apocalypse, Book One’. His hesitation was due to the fact that the book supported a view of eschatology called Preterism; that is a view that most of the things described in Matthew 24 and the Book of Revelation were fulfilled back in 70 AD, with the destruction of the second Jewish Temple. The arguments that support this thesis range from good ones to the more fantastical, sometimes making the alleged accounts of Nero the Roman Emperor sound as supernatural as the Bible itself. Still, as a non-salvation issue, the interpretation of eschatological passages ought to be something we can discuss openly even if we wholeheartedly disagree with one another. And while we jokingly titled this episode, “Is Brian Godawa a Heretic?” the reality is, more discussion about various views on biblical end times is important for us as a church to fully grasp the depth of the Word and how it might apply to us.Synthesis?Some folks believe that Bible prophecy happens cyclically where all events ultimately leads to the fulfillment of every yod and tiddle. There are times in history where political, military and religious leaders and their institutions conduct acts that echo what was written down in the Scriptures hundreds or thousands of years prior. Such events, might be mere archetypes or perhaps even partial or fragmented fulfillments leading to an ultimate fulfillment. With priests like Bill Nye the Science Guy, Neil DeGrass Tyson, Richard Dawkins and many others, Science is preached as ultimate truth rather than a method of inquiry; hence Scientism. However, unbeknownst to advocates, not only has the fervor become religious, but highly charged politically as a platform for Globalism and a New World Order!Science is meant to be the practice to better understand the natural world. But when data becomes inflated, ignored, and tampered to uphold certain pillars of an established paradigm, it becomes less about what’s true about the nature of reality, and what’s beneficial to the controllers.
