Believing the Bizarre: Paranormal Podcast25 Maalis 2025

The Smiling Shadow

This week, we dive into three chilling listener-submitted ghost stories.First, we explore an anonymous account from a Nigerian boarding school where students experienced mysterious disturbances - from violently shaking beds to objects moving on their own - that multiple witnesses confirmed.Next, we discuss Thomas's experiences in his inherited trailer home, where he encountered everything from ghostly visitors and flying clothes to a menacing shadow figure that created an overwhelming sense of danger. The property's location on the Trail of Tears and above a well creates the perfect conditions for paranormal activity. We also share Sam's lifelong encounters with a terrifying entity known as "the smiling man" - a shadow figure that followed them across multiple states and homes over many years. What makes Sam's story particularly compelling is that both their brother and partner independently witnessed this entity, adding credibility to the account.Patreon: Support Believing the Bizarre and get tons of extra content by joining our Patreon. For updates, news, and extra content, follow Believing the Bizarre on social media:InstagramFacebookTwitterDiscordShop Merch: You can rep Believing the Bizarre and buy some unique merchWant to send BTB something?
