He began his career as a pulpit Rabbi, first serving at the Young Israel of Oak Park in Detroit, Michigan, and then at Congregation Beth Jacob in Beverly Hills, California. In 2009, he assumed the position of Senior Managing Director of the Orthodox Union, leading their institutional advancement and community engagement efforts.
