30 | Taking the leap of faith to homeschool

Krista and I met at a fall festival last year. I was there selling the jewelry I design and make! She bought some my earrings, by the way. It wasn't until recently that we both realized we are part of the homeschooling community. On today's episode Krista shares her wisdom and experience with us. She started her homeschooling journey 2 years ago, and was an elementary teacher prior to becoming a momma. We talk about her transition from being a public school teacher to homeschool teacher, what it means to de- school, how you can help your kiddos if you are making the transition from public school to homeschool, how to build up your own community for you and your kids, and that dreaded thing that anyone who doesn't homeschool seems to worry about.
