Together, we unpack the emotional, academic, and systemic challenges that families often face and offer empowering strategies to build confidence, encourage independence, and advocate effectively within school systems.

Dr. Rappaport discusses the importance of early diagnosis, the power of phonetically-based learning programs, and how shifting the conversation around learning differences can help remove shame and stigma. About Dr. Lisa Rappaport|

Lisa Rappaport, PhD, is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Manhattan. She has extensive training and experience in treating children and adults with dyslexia and attention deficit disorder. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Rappaport is on the faculty at the Rose F. Kennedy Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She lives in Manhattan with her husband and two children.
