THE CALL ROOM With Lex & Leo Young | Episode 5: Chasing History One Race At A Time | Clovis Preview

“I think we’ve got to make it count. It’s the last chance to go out there and really dominate… It’s a big statement, but I want people to think of us as the fastest people to ever run in high school.”

This weekend is the legendary Clovis Inventional where California’s best runners meet up on the iconic Woodward Park Course. Lex, Leo, and the Newbury Park crew are more than ready for their first big challenge of the season. Family bragging rights are up for grabs as their brother Nico’s meet record could go down (14:28).

On top of talking about Clovis, we discuss:

  • How their training is going including the most impressive workout of the past month (hint: it’s unbelievable)

  • What National Meet they plan on racing

  • Their go-to Chick-Fil-A order

  • Thanksgiving vs Christmas

  • Best/worst XC courses they’ve run

And much more! This episode was a super fun one. A lot of thoughtful discussion around many different topics with a healthy amount of banter mixed in (: This episode is well worth your time if you want some quality running content and a few laughs along the way.
