Report: Eichel negotiations on extension have begun

The Golden Knights and Jack Eichel have started to sit down at the bargaining table as they try to hammer out a new contract extension. Eichel's contract expires at the end of the upcoming season. Eichel has 253 points in 241 career games with VGK. He is also an Olympian, member of USA's Four Nations team, and a Cup Champion. His salary range is somewhere in the $12.5-$14 million range.
