The criminal known as the East Area Rapist continues his assault upon women in the Sacramento area, but over time, his modus operandi begins to evolve. Instead of acting out of a need to rape, he begins to terrorize the families of those he strikes, crafting a legacy known as the "Original" Night Stalker.
