Megan Ormiston shares her story of pursuing high-level sports, finding a bigger purpose, and the things you just can't prepare for, but must learn to adapt in the moment. Megan was a high-level achiever in the class room, surgery recoveree, and transfer player through her college career. GRADUATE STUDENT (2022-23) – Played and started in all 31 of Nevada’s games …Led Nevada in field goal percentage at 48.2% and field goals made with 118 … Averaged 9.3 points per game, 4.8 rebounds per game while coming up with 16 steals, 15 assists and 19 blocked shots … Named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team … One of four Nevada players to pass 500 career points … Scored in double figures in 17 games and grabbed at least 10 rebounds in three games … Came up with 12 points in Nevada’s home opener against Pacific (Nov. 13) … Collected her first double-digit rebounding game against Stanislaus State (Nov. 20) with 10 … Recorded her first double double of the season with a season-high 26 points and 11 rebounds against Santa Clara (Dec. 11) … Led Nevada with 21 points against Oregon State in the Maui Classic (Dec. 17) … Had her second double double of the season at Colorado State (Jan. 19) with 15 points and 10 rebounds … Matched a season-high 26 points against Fresno State (Jan. 21) … Scored in double figures in four of her final five games of the season … Had 18 points in her final collegiate game against UNLV in the Mountain West Quarterfinals (March 6).
