'I Touched His Bones': Interrogation of Woman Who Pushed Her Husband Out of a 17-Story Building

Amber Hilberling pushed her husband Joshua Hilberling out of the window of their apartment after he threatened to leave her on June 7, 2011. Joshua fell 17 stories to his death. Amber was seven months pregnant at the time. Amber claimed that she didn't mean to push him out the window. She then filed a lawsuit against the apartment complex, claiming it resulted from negligence of the building owners. She claimed Joshua "tripped and stumbled into a wall in the living room of the apartment and made contact with a large window." The lawsuit was dismissed in 2015. Amber was convicted of second-degree murder March 18, 2013, and was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Watch Hilberling's full interrogation.

Russell Tillis - Charged with Murder and Dismemberment of Joni Gunter - Police Interrogation

Russell Tillis - Charged with Murder and Dismemberment of Joni Gunter - Police Interrogation

Russell Tillis - Charged with Murder and Dismemberment of Joni Gunter - Police InterrogationThe investigation began in 2015 when Tillis was first arrested on charges of aggravated assault and battery on officers after they chased him into his yard, booby-trapped with razor blades and half-buried boards studded with nails, police said.On Dec. 8, 2016, Tillis was arrested on new charges of murder and kidnapping while in jail, based on the conversations he had with inmate Sammy Evans, prosecutors said. Evans told detectives Tillis had talked about killing and dismembering a woman and burying her on his property.Police got a search warrant and went through his ramshackle house and fenced backyard for three days, finding four holes with the buried human remains of Gunter, believed to be 30 at the time of her death. Tillis testified Thursday, stating the confession is bogus and that he wanted the death penalty at the time because he was depressed. He said he attempted suicide around the same time by swallowing pills "purchased" from inmates in exchange for meals.“I was in the hospital for three days," he told jurors of the overdose. "I should have never left. Should have ended up in the morgue.”Tills said around then he conspired with Evans to create the elaborate confession, deliberately making it as shocking as possible to create the aggravating circumstances to ensure he got the death penalty. That included telling Evans that he kept women chained up and allowed others to have sex with them for money. In the confession, Tillis is heard telling Evans that his brother Claude Tillis came to his house one day to have sex with a woman, but she recognized him, and he said "you gotta kill that b----.” He said his brother talked him into killing the woman, "but you cut her up,” Tillis is heard saying. When he spoke to jurors Thursday, the defendant then said his brother showed up at his house with Gunter's body in his trunk."Joni Gunter arrived at my residence in the trunk of my brother's car, and she was deceased. How she met her death, I had no clue," Tillis said, refusing to discuss anything more, First Coast News reported. The jail recording also has Tillis saying they hung Gunter's body from chains in the garage, and his brother cut off her head with a Sawzall. His brother got “squeamish,” leaving Tillis to dismember the body.True Crime Podcast 2023 Police Interrogations, 911 Calls and True Police Stories PodcastBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/darkest-mysteries-online-the-strange-and-unusual-podcast-2024--5684156/support.

Dumbest Reasons for Divorce (2 Hour Compilation)

Dumbest Reasons for Divorce (2 Hour Compilation)

Dumbest Reasons for Divorce (2 Hour Compilation)15 Divorce Lawyers Share Ridiculous Reasons People Filed for DivorceIt kind of blows my mind that some people even bothered getting married. There are times when it so obviously isn’t a good idea, when it seems like people don’t even know who they’re deciding to (potentially) spend the rest of their lives with.So why go through with it?!People took to AskReddit to share the most ridiculous reasons married folks decided they’d had enough, and it was time to get divorced.“Lawyer here. One of mine that sticks out is that the husband and wife both played some sort of on-line role-playing game, sort of like the Sims I think but a little more elaborate and adult (‘Second Life’ maybe?). I don’t know anything about online games. The wife got heavily involved with the game, like 10 hours a day, and wouldn’t reduce her time playing no matter what he said. What tipped things over the edge however was that he set up a fake profile/ avatar and went online to stalk her in the game and found her avatar having sex with some random guy’s avatar.Nothing ever happened in real life (neither of them were exactly oil paintings to look at) but that was enough for the guy to initiate a fairy acrimonious divorce.”Tons of crazy reasons“Hopefully soon-to-be-former Divorce attorney, I’ve seen tons of crazy reasons for people to get divorced. Some of them stupid, some of them make perfect sense. I had one person get divorced because her husband wouldn’t take her out to the movies anymore. I had one client who looked through her husbands phone and found out he was hiring male escorts while he was on business trips. One female client got a divorce because she hated sex with her husband. Her last relationship before she got married was pretty intense and I guess her husband just didn’t match up.I’ve had a few clients who were teachers get divorced because their spouses found out they were having relationships with students. All of the teachers were female. One divorce involved an elderly couple who had both recently been widowed. They had both been married to their individual spouses for over 40 years. They married each other out of loneliness. About two years into the marriage, they realized they made a huge mistake. They couldn’t stand each other. It was weird seeing eighty year olds complaining about the same thing you see kids arguing about.”6. That is repulsive“Not a divorce lawyer, but have done marriage therapy. Had a soldier stationed at Guantanamo Bay that met a local. Fell madly in love. They decided to get married so she could come with him back in the states once his tour was done. She was working on American dishes, and was making spaghetti. He comes home from work one day, and she’s making it. She puts the meat in, puts the canned sauce in, and then pulls an unlabeled bag out of the freezer and adds it to the sauce. At this point in the session she’s hysterically crying with broken spanglish. She’s trying to explain she didn’t know any better. Through the hysteria he informs me her mother and grandmother told her if she wanted to keep her man, she needed to put her menstrual blood in his food. It was so hard to keep my composure. I was trying to hard not to gag. They both described they were madly in love, but he couldn’t let it go. They ended up getting a divorce. Having done this for 14 years, I have found it 100% accurate that truth is stranger than fiction.”7. What a guy“My dad split from my mom because “she takes too long to tell a story.” He was actually having affair #4795809374 and that came out shortly after. But this was one of the main reasons he gave when they did a counseling session together.”Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/darkest-mysteries-online-the-strange-and-unusual-podcast-2024--5684156/support.
