ULTRA ORTHODOX: Her Tormented Childhood as the Rabbi’s Daughter

Born into a strict Ultra Orthodox family and the daughter of a Rabbi, Chasya’s life was under complete control. She describes how modesty begins at 3 yrs old, as to not cause men to “stumble” and how slaughtering chickens in front of chiIdren for their sins scarred her for life. Blamed for being SA’d by a boy as a chiId, and severely pun*shed, her life was under constant scrutiny and judgement. Also on the Autism spectrum with no mental health support, she faces further stigma and challenges.
