On this inaugural episode, Troy is joined by Peter Bulut (Owner/President) and Mike Lackey (Brewing Operations Manager) to take a trip down memory lane as GLB turns 37 years young on February 12. The fellas share some stories they've never told before, talk about the struggles and challenges of owning a craft brewery, burning beer, chasing down a keg thief, give some predictions for beer in 2024, and lots more. Learn about "Hop Creep" with Cole Raiskums during our "Coles Notes" segment. Raiskums, the Quality Assurance Lab Supervisor with GLB, talks about an interesting phenomenon in brewing science that was recently discovered called hop creep. "Brewpub Corners" belongs to Worthy, the General Manager of GLB's second location, where she'll spill the beans each episode on new specials, highlighting events, and telling stories about Toronto's Eastern Waterfront.
