SO LONG TO A LEGEND

It’s not easy to put into words what Son Heung-Min has meant to Tottenham Hotspur. For ten years, he wasn't just a player—he was the beating heart of the team, the grin that broke through even the darkest days, and the spark that turned a half-chance into a moment of magic. When Son arrived from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, few outside Germany truly understood what Spurs had signed. He quickly introduced himself not with noise, but with relentless effort and devastating pace. In a squad evolving under Mauricio Pochettino, he carved out a role as a fan-favorite not just because of his goals, but because of how he played the game: fast, fearless, and always with a smile. Over his decade in North London, Son became one of the most beloved players in the club’s modern history. He reached the 100-goal mark in the Premier League—a feat only a handful have achieved—and he did it without penalties, without ego, and with unwavering humility. His partnership with Harry Kane became the most prolific duo in Premier League history. Their understanding bordered on telepathy, their mutual respect clear. Kane was thunder; Son was lightning.
