Susan Smith, the South Carolina woman who drowned her two young sons, Michael and Alex, and tried to blame a black man, is coming up for parole. For nine days in 1994, David Smith stood by his estranged wife as others questioned her story. Susan Smith eventually confessed to drowning the boys in a lake.
