-Today’s topic-

日本の島根県では、やっと梅雨が明けました。

今回の梅雨はとても長かったです。

The rainy season has finally ended in Shimane Prefecture, Japan.

This rainy season was very long.

今回の梅雨は長かっただけでなく、かなり雨が多く降りました。

水害も起きましたが、死者が出なかったことが奇跡です。

Not only was it long, but it also rained a lot.

There was some flooding, but it is a miracle that no one was killed.

でも、静岡では死者が出てしまったり、中国の四川ではかなりの被害が出ています。

However, there were some deaths in Shizuoka and a lot of damage in Sichuan, China.

世界中で環境の問題が深刻化してることはとても残念ですが、そんな中平和に暮らせている毎日に感謝です。

この夏は海に行ったり山に行ったり、沢山楽しみたいと思っています。

It is a shame that environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world, but I am thankful that we are able to live in peace every day.

I am looking forward to going to the beach, mountains, and having lots of fun this summer.

また、今年はスキューバダイビングに初めて挑戦します。

とても楽しみです。ダイビングをしたらまたインスタグラムで投稿しますね！

I am also going to try scuba diving for the first time this year.

I'm really looking forward to it. I'll post more on Instagram when I go diving!
