The Fraser Institute released a study on how long Canadians waited for medical treatment and how much it cost them. Nadeem Esmail is a senior fellow at the institute and says, roughly 1.5 million patients waited over 15 weeks for specialist referrals, an additional 15 weeks to receive treatment, and the long wait for surgery and medical treatment cost Canadians almost $5.2 billion in lost wages. James Nadler, Chair of the RTA School of Media at Toronto Metropolitan University, joins the Nightshift to discuss the potential impact of US tariffs on the Canadian film industry.
