He was discovered on the death world of Fenris, where he was raised by a pack of wolves before being taken in by a Fenrisian king. Growing into a warrior of unmatched strength and savagery, he eventually proved himself to the Emperor in a legendary duel and was granted command of the VI Legion. During the Great Crusade, Russ and his Space Wolves became known as the Emperor’s executioners, unleashed to bring compliance to the most defiant worlds and to hunt down traitors with ruthless efficiency.
