THE LOWDOWN EPISODE #53 - CONNECTING THE DOTS w/ AL JAZIRA ACADEMY DIRECTOR; JAMES GOW

From working as a volunteer coach to now being the academy director of one of the world's most productive youth systems, James Gow has been on a journey. Working in the performance analysis department at Liverpool James learned the value of standards and small details working day in day out with some of the world's leading coaches and players. Yet despite this his sense of adventure appealed and James went on a journey to discover more about himself and football in the process. No matter whether it was Liverpool, Australia, China or Abu Dhabi James' value driven approach enabled him to surround himself with people of similar vision and ambition. It has made for one great story to date which is yet to run it's course. Listen and learn to hear more about;

- Learning the importance of standards through working daily with the likes of Kenny Dalglish, Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez.

- The “most difficult experience' of James” life?

- How Al Jazira are “changing their game while being at the top of their game”?

- Inside the work done on and off the pitch at Al Jazira to back up their grand vision.
