Her original shop, Frankly Wines, which sold in 2017, was regarded as one of the top small wine shops in America. She is the founder of Copake Wine Works in the Hudson Valley/Berkshires region. Her shops have been recognized by publications such as the Financial Times, the New York Times, Grub Street, and Food & Wine. Christy writes for various industry publications. She has served on the New York Times “Wine of the Times” Tasting Panel, Wine & Spirits tasting panels and is one of “Food & Wine’s Top Wine Experts” to follow on Twitter. She is an Advanced Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, holds the WSET Diploma in Wines from International Wine Center, is a member of Les Dames d’Escoffier and serves as a mentor with the Bâtonnage Mentorship Program and The Roots Foundation.
