According to new research, we make just 29 real friends in our lifetime and only 6 of them will last the distance. A study, which charted the social lives of 2,000 people, showed that we lose touch with almost 50% of the friends that we make. Which echos the theory that we have friends for a reason, friends for a season and friends for life. Not only do friendships come and go naturally, but sometimes we loose valued friendships through circumstance, distance, misunderstanding or we decide to break off friendships that are no longer positive.
