84. BIOGRAPHER SHARON WATTS REVEALS THE FULL STORY BEHIND WOODSTOCK PERFORMER BERT SOMMER (PART 2, POST-WOODSTOCK: 1970-1990)

Throughout the course of Bert Sommer's post-Woodstock career, we’re reminded over and over again how unfair fate can be. Join us, along with Bert Sommer’s biographer Sharon Watts and Music Expert Angie Pope, as we learn about the debilitating drug habit that led to Bert’s early 1970s incarceration, the honest-to-God Sid & Marty Krofft kids TV show on which Bert wound up later in the decade, the shockingly unexpected creative team behind Bert’s very last attempt at the big time, and the car-crash of a public access show on which Bert guested, from which it’s absolutely impossible to look away, even for one second. Next Week: The John Landis Tapes, Volume 1! *
