17: Sarah Perry on her 630 miles run on the Coastal Path, self-discovery & dreaming big

Huge welcome to Sarah Perry on the podcast today. Growing up in the outdoors, she has a huge passion for being out in the elements and running. We recorded a few months after she set a new self-supported FKT on the South West Coastal Path in the UK a 630 mile trail with 35 000m+ elevation. We delve into this adventure, the conditions, logistics, and the highs and lows. But we also discuss what she loves about the mental and physical challenges of long-distance running, dreaming big, and the self-discovery that comes with each mile.

There are a few mic noises at the beginning which we didn’t notice, please bare with us as everything Sarah is telling us is so so worth it. I hope you enjoy the episode and feel inspired to dream big!

Subscribe to "She Trails Podcast" for future episodes, where we dive into female trail runner stories, and get inspired to explore new paths and seek our own adventures, whatever they may be.
