Gary Neal emailed a photo: "This is what I'm doing while listening to Episode 327 Irish Jig Heroes."

It's a bunch of paperwork that I don't envy.

Paul Vosteen emailed from West Virginia: "Marc - ok, that's a little informal, Mr. Gunn, My wife and I volunteer at a local community radio station here in Pocahontas County (WV). We're three shows in to a Celtic radio show that we call "Celtic Highways and Byways" and I'm writing to ask your sage advice on obtaining new music. We're operating on pretty much a zero budget (volunteer DJs, public/community radio, etc.) and the current library of Celtic music at the station is rather old - there was a show that ended about 6 yrs back, so the 'newest' stuff in the collection is circa 2009. We do have a few CDs of our own that we tap into, but finding new music is our goal.

One of the areas we are trying to focus on is reinforcing the connections between the music of the Celts and music in the Appalachias. We've made some inroads into this, but we're kinda newbies (although I have played Celtic music for a number of years - whistle and flute). ANY insights you may have are appreciated. We subscribe to your podcast, and enjoy it greatly - I generally listen while I am at work, while my wife plays it loud all about the house. :-)"

Thank you Paul. First, Marc is fine. If you're looking for quick access to a bunch of Celtic music, become a patron at the Song Henge level, and you'll get a ton of albums with MP3s from the past couple o'years. That might be a great starting place.

If there are any Celtic musicians out there listening, I will be happy to tell them right now to submit music to Paul. There's a link in the shownotes to the station where you can find them.
