This special Veterans Day episode will introduce you to a new definition of HEART, an acronym of reasons why young Americans join the military. You will also learn a new way to give heart to service members who are soon to pass away. The Spaniard's guest, Col. Claude Schmid, founded Veteran Last Patrol to bring friendship to veterans in hospice care. Claude knows the importance of having a chance to tell your story—he saw it during his mother's visits to a dying friend, as well while leading the Army's Wounded Warrior Flight program, which welcomed thousands of injured and ill soldiers back from Iraq and Afghanistan for medical treatment.
