AMXtalks 258 - Chick & Betty Brenneman, The Spaniard's Grandparents

This episode was a long time coming in a number of ways. For a good while, The Spaniard has been meaning to record with his grandparents—his Nam and Pap, Charles "Chick" and Betty Brenneman. It finally happened, and this episode published the day before their 72nd wedding anniversary. Both farm kids, Nam and Pap discuss chores, attending country school, 25 cent movies, building their family cabin and its outhouse, cooking, hunting and more. You'll hear about some close calls along the way, but hard work has kept them kicking.

Note from The Spaniard: I had every intention of writing this show intro, but Dread nailed it above. You'll hear my love and appreciation of family history and documentation in the intro and throughout the episode, but yes, this was a really special interview and something I feel lucky to have captured.
