Jumanji Sequel Starts Filming In November | Cast, Release Date, What To Expect

Sony’s next Jumanji movie is officially on the runway. Filming begins in November in Los Angeles, with Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan back under director Jake Kasdan. New additions include Brittany O’Grady and Burn Gorman. The release date is set for December 11, 2026.

If you’re new to the modern run, Jumanji reimagines the enchanted board game as a video game that pulls teens into avatar bodies played by the stars.
