The Story of Ruth: Faith, Loyalty, and God’s Plan

In this video, we’re breaking down the incredible story of Ruth, a woman of faith, kindness, and unwavering loyalty.

➡️ Naomi and her family left their home seeking a better life, but tragedy struck when Ruth’s husband passed away.

➡️ Instead of returning to her old life, Ruth chose to stay with Naomi, declaring, “Where you go, I will go.”

➡️ To provide for them, she gleaned in the fields of Boaz, who would later protect and redeem her.

➡️ Through Naomi’s guidance, Ruth expressed her heart to Boaz, and their love story became part of God’s greater plan, leading to the lineage of Jesus!

Ruth’s story teaches us powerful lessons:

-Kindness – “May the Lord show kindness to you as you have shown to your dead and to me.”

- Consistency – “Where you go, I will go.”

- Reliability – Ruth worked steadily from morning till night.

- Humility – “Why have I found such favor in your eyes that you notice me, a foreigner?”

- Obedience – “I will do whatever you say.”

Ruth was an ordinary woman whose extraordinary faith changed history. If we lived like Ruth, how could God use us today?

Emily is a fashion and styling content creator (@ stylingemilybeaney). she has been doing social media for over 2 years and before that worked in ministry doing youth work and student ministry. She did theology at university.

This podcast was a word from God given to Emily whilst she was at a summer christian event. she felt she was given a list of titles, before asking God what the titles were for she was given a picture of some ribs draped in a knitted jumper and then, she felt prompted to write by tye drawing ”ribs and knits podcast” and there was born the podcast.

The podcasts is aiming to help Christian girls avoid wearing what scratches and instead put on what brings comfort (JESUS) 🧶.

Since Emily grew up without an older sister to help her know what to avoid, teach her how to do things, give her advice in tough moments, Emily felt she ended up in situations she would not have if she had someone helping her. This podcast will hopefully act as a big siter to girls and give them confidence to go for things in life and, and know Jesus well.
