November is a jam packed filled month of great Canadian Podcasters! In a month know for Pumpkin Spice everything, we want to turn our attention towards some other great and important things to be aware of this time of the year!

Movember

What Movember is

• A global movement that uses the month of November to raise awareness and funds for men's health.
• A blend of the words "moustache" ("mo") and "November".
• It addresses major health concerns facing men, including prostate and testicular cancer, as well as mental health and suicide prevention.

How to participate

• Grow a Mo: The most iconic way is to grow a moustache for the entire month.
• Move for Movember: Walk or run 60 kilometers (about 37 miles) over the month to honor the 60 men lost to suicide each hour worldwide.
• Host a Mo-ment: Organize a gathering with friends, family, or colleagues to have fun and raise funds for the cause.
• Mo Your Own Way: Create a personal challenge that fits your interests and abilities.

Impact and goals

• Raise Awareness: It starts conversations about men's health issues that are often overlooked or stigmatized.
• Fundraise: Donations support a range of men's health projects around the world.
• Improve Men's Health: The ultimate goal is to help men live longer, healthier live

November is also National Podcast Post Month

NaPodPoMo is a month long event along the same vein as National Novel Writing Month aka NaNoWriMo. The difference? Well, instead of writing a 50,000 word novel, you podcast every day for 30 days from November 1st-30th.
