Mental Health Episode! Depression and Anxiety in Sport: Invisibility and How Coaches Can Help

This is episode 4 of Beyond Top 10 Tennis and an episode close to my heart with a background as a Chairperson for NFP's in the Mental Health space. Today's episode is all about removing the stigma around Mental Health and championing for better acceptance, awareness and self-care. To follow along, we're at section 1.4 on p.44 inside "The Secrets to Optimal Performance Success" although today's episode does veer away quite a lot from the Chapter to re-focus on a few key points that really matter. Looking closer at how we can help one another, how players and/or athletes are human alike us all and that we can shift our focus to better mental to emotion care, just like our physical to performative care.
