Today we are joined by Joanne (@missjoannesfinishingschool). Jo was a professional dancer appearing in Casino review shows, tv commercials, cruise ships, and industrial & promotional shows in the 80's, 90's and early 2000's.  Which means she danced in clubs back when the clubs were referred to as go-go bars and then called gentleman's clubs.  After retiring from dancing, Jo worked as a house mom at Delilah's for almost  20 years and founded their shows & dance-team programs. She also developed the contests in to what they are today… Legendary! Jo is currently retired and happily married, residing with her husband, 4 resident rescue cats, her rescue dog and foster kitties.  This episode we discuss: the difference between go-go dancing  and ex0tic dancing; the changes Jo has seen over the 3 decades her dancing career spanned; how the dancers and the clientele have changed over the years; how the 90s Microsoft / Apple tech bubble burst of 2000/2001 and the infamous 2008 crash impacted the str!pclub; her experience working as a house mom and more !  As always, have a wonderful week and happy wh0re-ing ! 💋

This week we are doing something new and exciting - a throwback to two of our previous guests! You may recognize these two lovely ladies from our previous episodes (episode 8 and more recently episode 119). Penny and Akira (@akirathahun) are joining us once again but this time as a couple!  They have been together romantically for nearly two years and are in the honeymoon phase of working together as FSSWers. Both penny and Akira are lesbian identifying and perform across the spectrum of gender presentation from day to day androgyny to the hyper feminine aesthetic that is prominent in sex work.  This episode we: catch up with Penny on where she is in her str!pping career now; compare how being in a relationship with a man differs from being with a woman in the context of SW; discuss their experience of working alongside a partner in the industry (pros, cons, jealousy, etc.); offer advice to other couples who are thinking of doing SW together and a ton more.  Apologies for blowing out your ears this episode with the continual outbursts of laughter and cackling but what do you expect when you get four friends together 🤷🏻‍♀️  Thanks for listening!
