Welcome back to Pop Palace! 🌟 In this episode, host Jack explores the turning point in Grace Jones' legendary career—her final disco statement Muse (1979) and the bold rebirth that was Warm Leatherette (1980).

First, we dive into Muse, a dramatic, gospel-tinged goodbye to the disco era that made Grace a star. Produced by Tom Moulton, the album channels redemption, nightlife, and theatrical excess—with tracks like "Sinning" and "Saved" reflecting a diva at the edge of transformation.

Then, everything changes. With Warm Leatherette, Grace steps into a new era: stripped-down, androgynous, and fiercely in control. Recorded at Compass Point Studios with Sly & Robbie, Alex Sadkin, and Barry Reynolds, this album fuses reggae, new wave, and post-punk into something wholly her own. From the industrial cool of "Private Life" to the stark elegance of "Love Is the Drug," Grace isn't chasing trends—she's setting them.
