In 2019, Keyona Griffin called 911 and whispered for them to please hurry because she was about to die. In the call, she told the dispatcher that her aunt had already been murdered and she was going to be next. But the urgency in her voice somehow got lost in translation, and the police left after knocking on her door and getting no answer. Keyona's death and the murder of her aunt set in motion a sequence of events that resulted in two more people being killed.
