In the ninth episode of British Murders Season 3, I tell the story of "Devilman" David Harker.In April 1998, David Harker killed Julie Paterson in his flat by strangulation.He then claimed to have cut off some flesh from Julie's thigh, fried it in garlic butter and ate it with pasta.David also claimed to be a necrophiliac and told psychiatrists he'd had sex with Julie's corpse before wiping it down with bleach and sawing off her head and limbs.To this day, Julie Paterson's head, arms and legs have never been found.David Harker pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility. In the seventh episode of British Murders Season 3, I tell the story of Theodore Johnson.After being born in Jamaica in 1954, Theodore emigrated to the UK with his first wife, Yvonne Johnson, in 1980.In 1981, Theodore was sent to prison for three years after being charged with Yvonne's manslaughter.Theodore went on to kill two more female spouses, a crime known as uxoricide, between 1993 and 2016.He was sentenced to serve a minimum term of 26 years in prison on January 5, 2018.
