So where to start!?! Well, we were relegated and Roy Hodgson didn't wave to the Watford fans even though he's employed by the club and had just presided over the final nail of relegation being firmly nailed into this seasons coffin. This was because the Watford fans were too far away (those pesky Watford away fans!) where as the Palace fans he was happy to smile and wave to! Then Carl was bitten by a Horse called Hercules who was the size of Cyprus but had bad teeth - I appreciate the story has somewhat jumped but in fairness if you listen to the podcast you'll still be confused - as we are still, its just the sort of thing that happens to Carl! Peter and Justin decided that each caller should decide whether or not a particular player should be fired or kept on for next season until Ellie decided that this was an inefficient model and started firing just about everyone!! More regular callers more debut callers - thanks so much for joining, contributing and listening! After the disappointment of the stoppage time defeat at home to Brentford the Hornets travelled to the Etihad to face Guardiola's expensively assembled team that were looking for a 15th consecutive win over Watford. The 5-1 defeat put the supporters in both a reflective as well as forward looking mood. Most would agree the end of the season can't come soon enough and the hope that a fresh start in a more forgiving environment than the Premier League will make next season better, but others were wary that this might too relaxed a view bearing in mind the issues that have worsened pretty much since the cup final Spaces regular Terry explains how he met almost everyone at the Brentford game and the last minutes were occupied by a superb debut call from Rich with a balanced view of concern for the future but also what could be a way forward. We get ratings on players from progressively less informed callers and we answer the question that literally no one was asking - what ever happened to Clint Easton!
