17-year-old Sarah Grace Patrick posted a selfie video in tears with mascara running down her face and also delivered an emotional eulogy at the funeral for her mother and stepfather who were shot and killed in their bedroom. But cops say those tears were all phony... they say the teen committed the murders herself. And he's considered one of the greatest wrestlers in W-W-E history... now Seth Rollins and his wife, who's also a wrestler, are the latest celebrities targeted in a burglary. It happened when the bad guys knew they would be away, wrestling in the ring. Plus, last week, Bryan Kohberger pled guilty to murdering four University Of Idaho students without revealing a motive, but there's a theory he was inspired by another rampage killer, Elliot Rodger, who killed six college students in 2014. Rodger was an incel, which means he hated women after being unlucky in love, and his story may have touched a nerve with Kohberger. And they were an unlikely duo - former President Obama and President Trump chit chatting at Jimmy Carter's funeral. The whole world was wondering what these political opponents could have possibly been talking about... now a new book claims to have the answer. The Nation's heart is breaking thinking of all the children swept away in the devastating Texas floods. This video was captured at Camp Mystic, as the kids and counselors started the season with a show, not knowing the tragedy coming just days later, but as the death toll rises...and a different video is particularly poignant - it shows children rescued from the flooded camp singing together as they are evacuated. And a time-lapse video shows just how quickly the flood waters rose... 26 feet in just 45 minutes, not giving anyone much warning. But today there are still questions about the effectiveness of the emergency alert systems and why evacuations weren't ordered earlier. Plus, you probably heard them going off all weekend long as Americans celebrated Independence Day, but there was also plenty of chaos, including this -- as someone watching a fireworks show thinks there's an active shooter in the crowd - igniting a stampede. And it's an iconic summer dish - crab cakes... and if you want the best, many make sure they are from Maryland - the state known for the delicacy. But even when the label, or menu, says Maryland crab cakes... is that really what you're getting? This may make you a little, well, crabby, but our investigation found that when you think you are getting Maryland crab cakes, sometimes it’s not the real deal. Inside Edition for Friday, July 4, 2025
It's July 4th and among the most popular fireworks being set off are roman candles, which shoot exploding shells into the sky. You're supposed to put them on the ground to launch, but some people have misused them, leading to disaster. And now that we're in beach season, it's important to remember that more than 100 people die in the U.S. each year due to rip currents. When you see someone struggling in the water your instinct is to jump in to help - but that has led to a phenomenon called "double drowning." Plus, lots of people are also traveling by car this holiday weekend and you don't want something like this happening to you. A 74-year-old woman was driving home after playing slots at a casino. Her car stalled and caught on fire, and when she tried to walk for help she got lost in the woods for days without food or water. She spoke with Steven Fabian about how she survived. And if you were on a sinking ship what would be one of the first things you would do...well, if you're an influencer you take a selfie, of course! As Les Trent reports, a party cruise on a yacht off of Miami didn't go quite as planned. As we head into the July fourth weekend comes another fireworks disaster. Last time we told you about the explosion at a fireworks warehouse outside Sacramento... now comes this. A fireworks explosion at a country club in Cape Cod that left eight people injured. It happened as a licensed fireworks professional was setting up a display on the golf course that went horribly wrong. And a record number of Americans are expected to take to the air this holiday weekend and you don't want to see this on your flight. Two men got into an all-out brawl on a plane leading to one of the passengers being arrested and posing for a mug shot looking bruised and battered. Plus, the whole nation watched Bryan Kohberger plead guilty yesterday to slaughtering four University of Idaho students. Now, as he awaits sentencing, we're learning more about how he committed the crime. Prosecutors believe he was able to locate his first victim Maddie by the large letter 'm' in her window. And Sydney Sweeney was among the A-list personalities who attended Jeff and Lauren Bezos' wedding of the year... but why? She isn't close with either the bride or the groom. Well, conservative podcaster Megyn Kelly has a theory, and it has nothing to do with Sweeney's acting talents. Double drama on a Disney cruise ship as a girl goes overboard, then her dad jumps in after her. The ship was returning from a four-night cruise to the Bahamas when the girl plummeted from the fourth-floor deck. Thankfully, the ship's rescue boat was nearby to bring the father and daughter to safety. Steven Fabian spoke with a passenger who was there. And more than two and half years after four University of Idaho students were brutally murdered in their off-campus house, the trial is about to begin. Now, we are hearing from the boyfriend and girlfriend who were the first to discover the bodies. Plus, we're learning new details about the sniper who cops say ambushed and killed two firefighters after deliberately setting a brush fire. He was later found dead at the scene. When he recently turned 20, his mom posted a loving tribute, but his final moments were allegedly filled with acts of violence. And you may have seen that drama at Beyonce’s first show in Houston, when there was a malfunction with her flying car that left her dangling sideways above the crowd. The big question being asked after that scare is, would Beyonce go back in the air on her second night in Houston?
