My USCHO Article Story; Let's Go Devils!
Well, slow news day for the New Jersey Devils, however I have a couple of stories to share. Recently, I appeared on another New Jersey Devils podcast show titled "Let's Go Devils". LeBron James Is Pissed: Was Marty Brodeur Snubbed of The MVP Award in 2003?
Recently, NBA player, LeBron James, expressed his displeasure of being snubbed of the MVP award. In a post game conference, he didn't mince words, he simply stated, "[The voting process] It pissed me off." So, with me being inspired by his frustration and reasoning, I decided to revisit the 2003 season. A season in which the Devils did win the Stanley Cup, however our goalie, Marty Brodeur, came up short of winning the Conn Smythe award to a Mighty Ducks player (Worth mentioning that was the team we beat in the 2003 Stanley Cup Finals).
