
How to End the Year Properly
End of the year to-do lists creeping up on you? If we leave our days to randomness we will always feel overwhelmed, rushed to get things done and feel like we're in a constant state of mediocrity. Let’s grab the end of this year by the reigns, keep a solid focus, and end this year in a way that feels joyous and in control. As you’re finishing up this year, consider this: "The more things in your life that are unfinished, not done well, or incomplete, your mind knows that and it creates a lot of noise in the background. That noise is always saying, “There are all these things to do," so even when you’re supposed to sit down and relax with your family, in the back of your brain there’s all that noise. I’m not here to pretend to be perfect or tell you that you should be perfect. I don’t think that’s real. I’m not here to say that every task in the world needs to be completed because you’ve got the kids, you’ve got the business, you’ve got all this stuff going on and I’m not diminishing or taking away from that, but I am saying that you need to have a clear checklist by the end of this year or that’s going to hurt you next year.
