Bonus Episode: Lake Okeechobee Crossing Recap

Hey y’all! This is new for me, a recap of a personal adventure. Although this trip was NOTHING compared to what some of our guests have done, it was a fun micro-adventure that got way more press and attention than I thought it would. My good friend, Jordon, and I set out on New Year's Eve to be the first people (we know of) to paddle across the largest lake in Florida, Lake Okeechobee. The route was a straight shot from North to South for 35 miles, taking just under 12 hours.
