Grensen

A young woman is found dead by the edge of an isolated forest road. Was it an accident or is it a disguised murder? A car full of frozen chickens is left abandoned in a ditch. A run-of-the-mill smuggling attempt or disguised drugs trafficking? Detective Chief Inspector Valmann of Hamar Police Department gets involved in a chain of events that takes him to the area around the border town of Kongsvinger, where roads criss-cross the border in a network that no authority can control or monitor. Crime has always flourished here, but is now about to take on new dimensions.

As the investigation uncovers drug trafficking, smuggling and the sale of people, even the experienced Chief Inspector Valmann is tested to the limit.
