Maraia is almost eighteen. Her name means ”star of the sea”. In Maraia’s own sea, her star is blue, with five arms: depth, silence, song, awe, and courage.

In their golden years, Ingrid, Sina, Lisbeth, and Maya left Norway to join their friend Kat on her cocoa farm in Fiji. With warm sand between their toes and flowers tucked behind their ears, they fought, loved, and struggled their way to pieces of happiness.
